Overwhelmed by Clutter

Are you overwhelmed by clutter and unsure where or how to begin decluttering? Focus on small areas and quick wins. Consider these ideas:

  • Declutter Bin- Select a room. Grab an empty bin. Quickly fill it with items that can be tossed. Let them go.

  • Declutter Bag- Grab your purse. Empty the contents. Remove trash or items that belong elsewhere. Return the remaining contents by grouping like with like.

  • Declutter Fridge- Pick a shelf. Toss expired items. Repeat until you’re done editing the contents.

  • Declutter Mail- Collect unopened mail in one pile. Recycle junk mail. File the keepers. Make a pile of action items. Route other people’s mail to their desks or bedrooms.
